Raleigh, NC – May, 2011 – Consumer Education Services, Inc., a Raleigh, NC-based national nonprofit credit counseling agency that is currently helping more than 70,000 Americans become debt-free through debt management programs, continues to follow through on its commitment to help clients avoid unnecessary financial hardships by reaching out to victims of recent tornadoes.
CESI sent emails to current clients in southeast states hit by violent storms in April, asking whether they were impacted and what their needs are. After reviewing replies, CESI management staff personally reached out via phone or email to every client who requested help. CESI was able to provide assistance to several families who were impacted financially, covering everything from insurance deductable to the replacement of groceries lost when the power was cut.
“Our clients work so diligently to stay on the path to financial freedom as well as save money for emergencies that we don’t want the damage caused by the recent storms to discourage them,” says Dr. Diane Chen, founder and CEO of CESI. “We promise to be there when our clients need us and it is our pleasure to help them and we hope our contribution will assist them to rebuild.”
CESI is assessing how best to respond to more recent storms.
